Halfway Completed



I am pleased to share that I finally finished this quilt top made with almost 1300 HSTs.  Just in time as I am back to work this week which really limits my quilting time.  I was in such a rush to show you, I didn't even take the time to press the border seams.  The first photo is most true to the colors - still working on my photography skills!  The border fabric on the left and front edges is much richer than the photo shows.  I'll take better photos when it's completely finished.

This quilt is for the parents of a friend of mine.  It's a surprise gift.  The family members are making signature blocks for me to incorporate into the back.  I'm hoping to get them by the end of the week to work on the back.

  5. I finished a quilt with 400+ HSTs, and I was crying. I can't imagine 1300! :) But it looks so lovely!
